Neurobiology of Insect Walking refers to ...

We will describe the basic movements of insects in walking and dealing with barriers. Then we will describe the local control circuits that reside in the thoracic ganglia and coordinate leg segments and groups of legs. Finally, we will discuss what is known about how brain regions process information and use it to re-direct leg movements.
