Evolving Intelligent Systems are information systems that evolve, develop their structure and functionality from incoming data and from interactions with the environment, based on objectives and criteria that may evolve over time. Examples of such systems are evolving connectionist systems (Kasabov, 2002, 2006), evolving fuzzy rule-based systems (Angelov, 2002).
