Summary
Rotational coupling scheme describing rotational motion of a spheroidal shape. The symmetry axis is labeled by \(S\), the total angular momentum by \({\bf I}\) and the collective rotational angular-momentum by \({\bf R}\), while \(K\) is the projection of \({\bf I}\) on \(S\). Since \({\bf R}\) must be perpendicular to \(S\), \(K=\Omega\), where \(\Omega\) is associated with the intrinsic state \(\phi_{K}\).
