Scholarpedia:Searching

From Scholarpedia
Jump to: navigation, search

Searching of Scholarpedia is the same as searching Wikipedia, since both are run by the same program – MediaWiki.

An additional feature of Scholarpedia is the search by the article’s page number, which refers to the very first revision that passed the anonymous review forum and was approved by the authors/curators. For example,

    • Izhikevich E. M. (2006) Main Page. Scholarpedia, p.1286

refers to the very first approved version of the Main Page of Scholarpedia. Type ‘1286’ in the search window and press ‘go’ to access the article. Typing 'Main Page' and pressing 'Go' button accesses the latest approved version of the article, which may be quite different from the original version.
