I find the article quite adequate with good motivations of the definitions introduced. However I think it would increase the motivation if a short proof of the fact that the equilibrium shape W solves the variational problem of Wulff, i.e. it minimizes the total surface free energy with a prescribed value of the volume of a convex region. Also it would be helpful to the non expert reader to add a reference to the theory of convex sets such as S(1993) in Pfister(2009). With these additions I think the article is quite acceptable.
