    Reviewer A:

This is a very nice concise introduction to Hilbert's Tenth Problem. The only point I would like to add is that the solution of the problem led to many interesting new Mathematical developments and stimulated a lot of interaction between Logic, Number Theory and Algebraic Geometry. The area of Mathematics devoted to the investigation of the open problems listed in the article and many others which arose out of the solution of the original problem, remains quite active today.
