Namespace pollution

hi, i think in principle one can always set up her private sandbox or other stuffs on her own user page, namely creating an article as sth like User:RG/Sandbox. In this way, one can prevent polluting the global namespace. -- Bao 11:48, 21 July 2008 (EDT)

when i add [[/private sandbox]] to my User;riccardo.guida I have an error message and the page cannot be created. I'll ask to eugene--Riccardo.guida 09:35, 23 July 2008 (EDT)
