Figure 1 needs more explanation. Are the individual line correspond to spices over time? --Memming 11:42, 20 January 2008 (EST)
- May be good to tone down the claim that "the vast majority" of species in the fossil record exhibit stasis -- this may be, but it is an empirical question and there is no reference provided to back it up.
- Figure captions required.
- typo: "might causes"
- Maybe add some more about the current status of punk eek?
