This article is informative and accurate and I'm happy to accept it. I corrected a few minor typos in the text and added a sentence about flux separation, referring to Tao et al (1998), but it is otherwise unchanged. My only concern regarding content is that some of the examples listed in the Applications section are shear-driven (accretion disks) rather than buoyancy-driven so they are not thermal convection per se.
